Living The Christ Centered, God Focused Live - Part 1

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Welcome to a new blog dedicated to Living the Christ Centered, God Focused life. This is a Bible Study forum. It is also a teaching forum from the Scripture. In this forum we shall dialog and examine what does it mean to live a Christ centered and God focused life? I have set up this blog to share some inspirational encounters about what it means to live a Christ centered and God focused life. We will allow the Holy Spirit to guide every discussion in this forum. There will be room for contributors to express their personal views or opinions. However, I will appeal that such views or opinions are expressed with the objective of edifying the body of Christ, which is the Church. We will observe some principles as taught in some biblical passages, beginning with the following ones:

1. " ... the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" (John 6, 63). What this principle indicates is that when we dialog, we will remember that we are doing the bidding of the Holy Spirit of God by respecting the word of life which Jesus Christ has spoken and that we are also touching lives and the issues of life. We will abide by the wise counsel of King Solomon which says "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life" (Proverbs 4:23). We will examine the spirituality and the physicality of this age old saying to our spiritual heart and, by extension, to our cardiovascular organ.

2. " ... that Chrsit may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all fulness of God" (Ephesians 3:17-19). By this principle, we are searchers searching for knowledge of the breadth, length, depth, and height of the love of Jesus Christ so that we can live a Christ centered and God focused life. We will also examine how we can translate the love of Jesus Christ to live a life of brotherly love as we are admonished to do by Jesus Christ in John 15:12.

More principles will be added as we proceed.

Let us start the ball rolling by discussing the following question. "What does it mean to be rooted and grounded in the love of Christ?" How can we live a Christ Centered, God Focused Life by being grounded in the Word of God?"
